Here we go again!

It’s October 15th, 2026 and Designed by Sam is nearly three and a half years old. My oh my, time sure does fly! But what a joy it is to reminisce on the memories made, to think about the growth of not only the business but personally and as an artist. Countless greeting cards made, craft shows, being present in two store fronts, painting bourbon barrels, commission pieces, and endless supporters along the way! I am looking forward to the journey ahead, taking it one step at a time.
My mission is to spread joy. One way we can do that is through art and handwritten notes. So you’ll find numerous cards (and other paper goods) and original artwork to bring to your own life or gift to others. Be the one who brings light to someone else’s life!
If you know anything about watercolor (and I can say I’m still learning every time I pick up a brush!) is that it’s about letting the pigment flow and surrendering control. You can say that about life too. What a beautiful journey we have been on!

And I’m so grateful.

Thanks for reading!

With love, Sam.
